there's nothing about mangos or purity. It's just a name..if you've come here from a search engine, the essay you're looking for is below:
Here, I present the essays I have completed as part of my Philosophy BA (I'm currently in year three, and will make essays available as they are marked).
If you'd like to discuss anything I mention here, or chat about philosophy in general, email me (but not at the address on the essays - I never check it) or leave a comment - I'll be glad to talk about almost anything except Kant, who I really don't understand properly yet ;-)
They're all saved as PDFs. If you have trouble viewing them online, try right-clicking and choosing 'save target as' to download them first.

on individuals, organisations and societies.
In case you're wondering if the essays are any good, they are all at least a 2:1, which is like a B+. A few are firsts, but the majority are 2:1s.
All the I.T. essays are firsts.

Says: If Death is the end, Should it be Irrational for us to to Fear it.
I found your answer to this strange question equally strange.
From my comments it will be obvious I am not a philisophy student (although I have a number of philosophies about things).
Did you need to encompass the quoted text or did you choose to, as it all seemed like a slow process to reach the conclusion or, to put it another way, based on the conclusion, all else seemed superfluous.
I'm not criticising, just curious. It was very logical and well written but is this what is expected in a philisophy major rather than a simple direct answer?
Well I imagine, clearly yes, as the simple answer lacks philosophical input ....here's my, essay (I suppose scientific, not philosophical).....
Is it rational to fear death? Yes.
The biological makeup of almost every living thing includes, as it must for continued survival of the species, a primary and urgent need for self presevation.
Fear of something that is in direct opposition to that fundamental (genetic) need is totally rational to the point that the lack of fear (in a species that has a knowledge of the existence of death) would be a mark of irrational behaviour.
Given that there is only one logical answer to the question is it rational to ask the question? (Joking)
Okay I know it was just a question to test the thought process.
